When Home Is A Habitat: Historic Building Renovation Requires An Unusually High Standard Of Care

Exploring Shedd Aquarium’s Centennial Project, a collaborative team comprising Kathleen and Michelle from Klein & Hoffman, Dave Haas from Pepper/Brown & Momen, and Sarah Hezel and Andrew Pulver from Shedd Aquarium recently shared insights with BISNOW. Working in partnership with Pepper/Brown & Momen, our focus lies on enhancing safety and comfort in structural design elements, integral to the $500M Centennial Commitment strategic plan. From meticulous pre-construction phases to ongoing stakeholder communication, our team navigates challenges to deliver exceptional results.

Phase 2 promises immersive visitor experiences, including renovated entryways and exhibit areas such as the Wonder of Water gallery, envisioned by Sarah Hezel.
