K&H Kares Repacks over 19,000 Meals for GCFD

K&H Kares recently came together to volunteer at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Along with other local volunteers, K&H team members helped repack 4,872 pounds of pasta, 7,200 pounds of bread, and 11,319 pounds of apples for a grand total of over 23,391 pounds, equating to 19,492 meals. K&H team members rocked the #BreadTeam and repacked all of the bread and baked goods in the entire warehouse!

The Greater Chicago Food Depository strives to end hunger by connecting neighbors with healthy food and advancing solutions that address the root causes of hunger.
