K&H Welcomes Elvia Sazo to the Philadelphia Offic

We are pleased to welcome Elvia Sazo, Associate III, to our Philadelphia office as part of our Architecture group. Elvia holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where her studies focused on vernacular architecture and emerging technologies, shaped by academic experiences in Boston, Berlin, and Shanghai. She later earned a master’s degree in Sustainable Design from Thomas Jefferson University, presenting a thesis that explored the development of a circular building economy through deconstruction practices and the use of salvaged materials.

Beginning her career in residential architecture, Elvia developed a deep appreciation for Philadelphia’s architectural heritage, which led her to specialize in facade restoration. Drawing on her multidisciplinary background, she excels at crafting thoughtful, durable solutions that respond to complex architectural challenges and client needs.

Fun fact: Elvia enjoys traveling the world with her wife, hiking with her husky Olaf, woodworking, and spending quality time with her community and family.
