Klein and Hoffman (K&H) provides structural and rehabilitation
engineering services for the renovation, modernization, adaptive reuse
and strengthening of existing facilities. These projects include:
high-rise and mid-rise buildings, institutional and healthcare facilities,
industrial buildings, vehicular and equipment maintenance shops, commercial
buildings, aviation and transportation facilities, bridges and towers,
marine and waterfront structures, and environmental structures. Our
extensive knowledge of various building materials include: concrete,
steel, aluminum, fiber-reinforced plastics, masonry, terra cotta,
stone, wood, glazing, sealants, asphalt, protective coatings and membranes.
Our knowledge of historic structures and modernization of existing
facilities also provides a valuable understanding of the behavior
of various structural systems and enables us to refine the design
and efficiently address items that are the key to a successful project.
