This Victorian-style station was constructed in the 1880s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The station building, boarding platforms, parking lots and stairs were renovated to meet current ADA standards while maintaining and preserving this historic transit facility.  Modifications included construction of new ADA compliant ramps, stairs, high-level platforms, bathrooms and signage.  An accessible ticket counter was also provided at the Station Master’s Office.
