Pouring the New Full Slab Replacement
The residential tower’s below grade parking garage ceiling was severely deteriorated after years of exposure to the environment. Following a thorough investigation including both material and non-destructive testing, K&H determined substantial concrete repairs were required. After careful consideration, the best solution was determined to be a full slab replacement. Great care had to be taken by the contractor during the slab removal to prevent instability in the main building columns.
