Increasing potable water usage in the Village required expansion of the existing reservoir system. The Village elected to construct the East Reservoir which will increase total underground storage capacity to 21.5 million gallons. Special attention was given to minimize construction issues, and water leakage. The new 175 foot wide, 215 foot long and 30 foot deep reservoir was designed to meet the requirements of ACI 350: Code Requirements for Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures.
