A nature walk is taking form to soften the impact of a large wastewater treatment plant on the surrounding urban neighborhood. An integrated design to beautify the appearance of the extensive site will allow the public access to view the mammoth scale of the plant from a protected overlook while enjoying the natural beauty of the waterfront and landscaping along the walk. A main steel stair and solid-blocked granite ramps at the street entrance of the plant will allow pedestrians access to the nature walk.
