K&H was contacted by Management to assess the condition of the existing ballasted (pavers) loose-laid single ply EPDM roofing system of the 20 S Wacker building following numerous reports of leaks into the office space below. After our review Ownership took the initiative of replacing the entire system “in-kind”. However in order to satisfy code requirements 2” of insulation and a heavier EPDM (90mil) was installed prior to the reinstallation of the original pavers.
