This 43,100 square foot health center is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s Latino commercial district. The first floor of the steel framed structure was elevated to minimize removal of a steep rock outcropping that underlies part of the site and to provide space for an employee parking garage. The two-story glass entrance takes its visual cues from the architecture of the surrounding Latino community.
