Bell towers are one of the crowning achievements of great architecture on historic churches. Unfortunately, many of the towers have suffered tremendous deterioration due to poor weather conditions and deferred maintenance costs. After completing a thorough condition survey K&H determined proper repair of the bell towers could not be achieved without removing and reconstructing the upper portions. Temporary stabilization measures were instituted to protect the public to allow sufficient time to develop full repair documents for the restoration of the towers.
