Klein and Hoffman - Structural and Restoration Engineers

The new three-story, 39,000 square foot science building is located on Cheyney University’s main campus.  The facility will provide students with updated and expanded laboratories and classrooms.  A mixture of structural systems is utilized to frame the caisson-supported building, including reinforced concrete, precast concrete planks, load-bearing masonry walls, and structural steel framing.  A new planetarium will be attached to the side of the building.
