Resident and management concerns regarding the spalling concrete balcony slabs at two pinwheel-plan buildings prompted the K&H conditions assessment and subsequent development of construction documentation for balcony repairs at the three-building condominium dating to the mid-1960s. K&H inspected each one of the 423 balconies in order to develop repair task quantities from which the masonry restoration contractor could base their bid for the repair work. The project is expected to be awarded in Spring 2011, and the work is to be phased over five (5) years.
