K&H provided various in-service improvements at three Amtrak passenger rail stations. Improvements at Baltimore Penn Station included repairs to MARC low level platform, canopy and access stairs. Improvements at BWI Station included the addition of two two-stop elevators, connecting elevated landings and enclosed walkways and a new electrical equipment building to house backup emergency generator and miscellaneous electrical equipment. Washington Union Station improvements focused on extensive reconstruction of five low-level platforms.
