This new 2-story, 45,000 square foot building houses administrative offices, customer service facilities, public spaces and conference rooms. The exterior construction consists of masonry bearing walls with an aluminum-framed storefront system. Light-gauge steel exterior walls were used in areas of the second floor to reduce the weight. Structural steel framing on spread footings supports the floor and roof decks. Lateral loads are resisted by a combination of flexible and rigid diaphragms.
