K&H helped recreate the family residence of Abbott Laboratories founder Dr. Abbott as a hybrid of office, archive and museum that identically represented the original residence. An extremely diverse group of building materials was used including: treated lumber, cold-formed steel framing, structural steel framing, precast concrete, masonry and cast-in-place concrete.
