Replacement of Terra Cotta Crown Atop Tower Underway
This 23-story art deco style building is capped off with an eight-story tower and a terra-cotta crown. The restoration of the exterior walls was undertaken to restore the rich blend of polychromatic face brick, stone and terra cotta enrichments. K&H worked in collaboration with the Owners, the Chicago Landmark Commission, Illinois Historic Preservation Agency and the National Parks Service during all facets of this comprehensive restoration effort.
