Located in Chicago’s Gold Coast, this 27-story residential building was experiencing widespread failures of their tower and garage roofs. Our investigation identified multiple roofing system failures and damage to the concrete substrate. Rehabilitation work included a complete replacement of the roofing system, concrete patch work, new drainage systems, and related masonry and metal work. K&H provided the Owners with a new modified bitumen system which is both durable and compliant with the energy conservation code.
